Make your POS trial prove the essentials
VoVi advertises a 30-day trial without a credit card. Use that time to answer a defined set of operational questions. The checklist below is useful whether the answer is to switch, investigate further or choose another system.
Your practical demo scorecard
Mark a task only after seeing it work with your own example. Your selections stay on this device only when you choose Save.
Before the first test
Pick a representative group of products and write down the expected price, stock and tax result. Bring the devices and labels that will be used in the shop. Nominate one owner to record issues and one employee to perform the cashier tasks. Keep demo data identifiable so trial activity is not mistaken for live sales.
At the counter
- Find and scan the correct product, change a quantity and remove a mistaken line.
- Complete a normal payment and rehearse a declined card on the external terminal.
- Perform a partial return and check both the money and stock outcome.
- Try a restricted action using a cashier account, then the appropriate manager permission.
At the end of the shift
- Match the receipts to the POS report, cash count and terminal totals.
- Explain the ending quantity for every test item, including returns and damage.
- Print a usable receipt and export a sample report that opens correctly.
- Send a realistic support question through the published support channel.
Decide from evidence
Mark each result as passed, failed or still unverified. A feature should not pass because someone promises it will work later. Record the configuration and date, especially for hardware and payments. Before adopting the system, resolve failures that affect taking payment, calculating totals, accessing records or closing the day. Keep the written software and processor terms with the checklist; a successful trial does not replace merchant approval or a payment agreement.
